A quick day is always the BEST day if you ask me! We love Disneyland but 5 hours is my absolute max and I’m always ready to get home and relax after a fun day… I seriously have no idea how people can go for a full 12-14 hour day!? Which is exactly why if you live in SOCAL you must get a season pass.
We have the cheapest pass which is which is the SoCal Select pass for $369.00 – You can also just pay $149.00 and then monthly payments of $18.50 with no interest and no credit card sign up required. Basically just give them your debit card or your CC for the payments and it’s that simple! This pass gives you everything you would want in a pass! It’s blocked out in the summer and super peak season days which is fine by me since I would never want to go on those days anyway right?! It’s mainly a Monday-Friday pass but again I don’t want to spend my weekends at Disneyland and would much rather go during the week either after school or a day off when it’s not too crowded.

My favorite place to park is the Garden Walk right near downtown Disney. You still pay $20 for the day, but you don’t have to deal with the giant parking structure madness and you don’t ever have to get on a trolly. It’s about a 10 minute walk though downtown Disney to the entrance OR if you have a season pass you can jump in the tram right there by rainforest cafe and it puts you right inside the park and you avoid all the entrance lines! I will also point out that the security checkpoint is never busy when you enter here. If you make the mistake of the Toy Story parking lot you have to get on a bus and then get dropped off at the busiest entrance and the security lines are insane (no thank you).

Today we went to California Adventure first and straight over to the new Pixar pier. The park opened at 8am and we arrived shortly after 9:45am. The Toy Story ride literally just opened it’s doors so we were one of the first in line and it was a pleasantly fast wait with great cold air conditioning.

We then headed over to the Little Mermaid ride which is never more than a 20 min. wait and always a crowd pleaser :). After the ride, we watched the toy story soldiers perform in the street and saw mickey mouse on the trolly!

For Lunch we ate in California Adventure at Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill and the salad i had was amazing! It was chicken, black bean with an avocado cilantro lime dressing. The salad was so fresh crisp and salty! So this is a new favorite lunch spot for me! (Ensalada con Pollo $10.49) After lunch we headed on over to Disneyland park. Today was all about the jungle cruise, meeting Elena of Avalor and some disney shopping on main street to wrap things up! It might not sound like a lot but it was a jam packed 5 hours and was just the perfect amount of time! Plus i love that each time we come we can do something different and it keeps things fresh and new!

Everything I share here, I truly believe in and I am a stickler with only working with companies that I have personally tried and am comfortable sharing.
