We care Wednesdays
The OC Fair has a ‘We Care Wednesday’ drive each Wednesday from 12-3PM where individuals can donate specified items to a local charity to receive FREE general admission to the OC Fair PLUS one FREE carnival ride per person. Below are the specified dates and benefiting charities.
Read and Ride
Bookworms ages 5-11 can read two books to earn three free carnival rides!
Download the book report form. Completed book report forms can be redeemed for ride tickets at the Kidland Information Booth during Fair hours. Tickets are valid July 12-Aug. 11, 2019, only.
First responders and law enforcement
FREE admission to active-duty and professional staff of the police, sheriff, fire and emergency services departments Aug. 7-11 with option to purchase up to 4 general admission tickets for your guests at half price. Issuing agency ID is required.
Unlimited Ride Wristband
For just $35.00 you can ride unlimited rides until 8pm – includes 2 free games and 1 ride on the Titan; all other rides are unlimited. You must purchase the wristband before 5pm
Children 12 & younger receive FREE Fair admission all day.
Enjoy $3 samples of select Fair treats. Valid noon – 4 p.m.
Half-price general admission ($7) and carnival rides are half the tickets to ride – from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday & Sunday

Explorium: Destination Kids
The Rainforest Experience
Educational Experience in the Explorium. Opportunities to interact with live bugs, see the life stages of butterflies, and view bugs and reptiles. This new exhibit will transport you from the OC Fair into the tropical Rainforests of the world.
The Magic of Frank Thurston
Back by popular demand, The Magic of Frank Thurston performs daily on the Explorium Stage at 2, 4 and 7:30 pm.
Come get creative! Children can take home their own crafty creation to remember a fun day at the Fair. Activities for all ages. LEGOs, Brain Flakes, puzzles and other manipulative games to keep little hands busy.
Pet Vet is a place children can help a pretend furry, feathered or scaly friend on their road to good health.
Kids’ Kitchen and Cafe
Kids’ Kitchen and Café is a place where children can channel their inner chef. Cook up some nutritious food in our pretend kitchen.
Back for another year of fun is Pitchburst, a seated water balloon game where someone will get wet!
Sprouts is for the littlest visitor to the Fair, 3 years and under offering a safe space to crawl and play with age-appropriate toys while connecting our babies and toddlers to nature and their food.
The Camp is our newly themed sand pit area for kids to dig and build.
Each night at 6:30, the Explorium Eating Contest is held for our younger visitors, ages 5-18. Generous Fair vendors supply the food. Sign-ups will begin at 6:00 pm. This is a standing-room-only event.
