TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY FASHION ISLAND
Join us for Fashion Island’s Tree Lighting Ceremony on Friday, November 22 and Saturday, November 23 at 6PM in the Neiman Marcus / Bloomingdale’s Courtyard. Enjoy a 25-minute live musical show by The Young Americans, a visit from Santa, a magical snowfall, and, of course, the highly-anticipated lighting of the tree!
Seating Rules & Regulations
- Seating can be “reserved” starting at 7AM each event day.
- Blankets and/or small lawn chairs (no more than 6 inches from the seat to the ground) are permitted.
- First come, first served seating (as of 7AM).
- Fashion Island is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
- Chairs/blankets must be removed after each show. Items cannot remain overnight.
Plus, after the Tree Lighting Ceremony, be sure to visit Santa and tell him your holiday wishes and take a photo to capture the moment. You’ll be able to find Santa in his custom-designed house on the Atrium Lawn from November 22 through December 24.

Nov 22, 2019 – Dec 24, 2019 Young visitors can meet with Santa to share holiday wishes and take photos at his custom-designed house on Atrium Lawn from November 22 through December 24.
Every first Friday in December, Laguna Beach celebrates Hospitality Night. Happenings will occur in downtown Laguna Beach, along Forest Avenue. This year’s Hospitality Night event is scheduled for Friday, December 6, from 5 to 10 p.m. Instead of beginning in front of City Hall this year, the festivities start in the Peppertree Parking Lot (located between Ocean and Forest, across from Second Street) where Santa Claus will arrive to greet holiday revelers before the tree lighting ceremony at 6:10 p.m. – this year on a different pepper tree than in the past.
My kids love coming to the crystal court sided to meet Santa and ride the Christmas train! It is much less crowded on this side as well 🙂
Decked out in his best red suit, Santa will be at his Crystal Cove beach-inspired surf shack to hear your wishes and take photos with kids & pets of all ages through December 24. Find Santa in Palm Court (near Old Navy).

‘Tis the season for Irvine Park Railroad’s annual Christmas Train. Come with family and friends and take this enchanting night ride through historic Irvine Regional Park to meet Santa Claus. The train will depart from the brightly-lit train station and drop passengers off at the North Pole. Children can share their wish list with Santa and have their photo taken with him too. You may take pictures with your personal camera or you may purchase a photo taken by Irvine Park Railroad.
After visiting with Santa, hop back aboard the train and enjoy the colorful Christmas lights and decorations, as well as the magical “Tunnel of Lights”, on the ride back to Santa’s Village.
Santa and his helpers will have special goodies for all the visiting children. Santa hours: November 30th – December 23rd: Monday-Saturday: 10 am-9 pm and Sundays: 10 am-8 pm 12/24 (Christmas Eve): 8 am-6 pm
Santa is available during regular mall hours, 10am – 9pm*
Starting Friday November 23 – December. Farm Tours: $20.00 per person (2 years and under are free) Includes Holiday Santa Tour, visiting with our rescue flock of chickens, photo opportunities, and play area. Active and retired Military personnel are eligible for FREE entry with ID.
Make a special stop on the tour in Tanaka Land on top of the hill where you might get caught up in a snow flurry! You will also have the opportunity to take photos with Santa and other farm-themed holiday sets while enjoying the gorgeous view.
A heartfelt Christmas Event
Bring your family and come experience a whimsical, classic Christmas you won’t forget. Enjoy creative, high quality, full sensory craft making and cookie decorating while hanging out with Santa, have some fun at our one-of-a-kind selfie stations, help yourself to the hot chocolate and coffee bar, and more fun secrets we want to save for you! You will also get to choose 10 digital images from your experience, as well as a custom take home bag for all of your goodies. You won’t want to miss making memories at this extra special event, created for kids from 1-92!
Tickets: $350 per family of 4 for a one hour experience, with time slots available at 11am, 12pm, and 1pm. There are only 10 family slots available per hour. Please contact us if you have less or more people in your family for an adjusted rate. Please also note any allergies for cookie decorating!

Enjoy an outdoor holiday movie under the stars & 90ft Christmas Tree held on Friday’, December 6, 13 & 20 in the Neiman Marcus / Bloomingdale’s Courtyard at 7:00PM. Check-in begins at 6:00PM. Enjoy a warm bag of popcorn with your purchase of a $10 general admission ticket. List of movies and link to purchase tickets coming soon.

Free Holiday Events in the Orange County area
Round up your family and come to Saddleback Yorba Linda on December 8th for a memorable Christmas Pageant! Celebrate the Christmas season with Saddleback Kids and enjoy our live retelling of the Christmas story!
The Pageant will take place during both services at 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. Every child (age 3-6th grade) is welcome to participate! Just show up and we’ll give you a costume!

One of the most special times of the year when we get together for the tree lighting on . The tree lighting takes place in front the the fire station on Marine Avenue. The snow hill and pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus take place on Marine ave between the fire station and The Village Inn. Come on down for this fun, family event and enjoy the music and festivities!
